President of Order of Food Technologists Lombardy and Ligury, President of FCSI Italian Unit and Scientific Director and Food Safety Expert

Massimo Artorige Giubilesi spent 15 years working as a Quality, Safety and External Relations Manager in multinationals in the food industry (production, distribution, catering and facility management) before becoming, in 2000, the head of a company providing consultancy, training and specialist services for companies and entities operating across the food supply chain (import/export, production, processing, distribution, catering), in the hospitality industry and the wellness and personal services sectors.

He is an advisor and management trainer for companies and public entities on food safety, production and sanitisation technologies, prevention of food crime and protection of consumer health, crisis and alert management, and external relations with public administrations and relevant authorities. He was a Food Safety Specialist Advisor for EXPO2015 and the head of the school catering sector for two European Projects (“Mangio Sano, Informato e Soddisfatto” and “Biobenessere”).

He is also the co-creator and tutor for a project aimed at the Chinese, Arabic and Hispanic-American communities on "Multi-ethnicity and Food Safety", co-author of "HACCP", a university level catering manual  (“Manuale della Ristorazione”) and “Progettare la Ristorazione Professionale“. He is the current Chair of the Lombardy and Liguria Order of Food Technologists, the Chair of FCSI - Italian Unit (Foodservice Consultants Society International), a lecturer at various universities, foundations and schools of higher education, and the scientific director and expert in food safety for a range of leading publications in the  industry, catering and hospitality sector.
